Steph Curry and Snoop Dogg joined forces to revamp their Boyhood Club’s basketball court for more than 70 kids who had been waiting a month for their surprise.

For the Long Beach Boys & Girls Club basketball court, Steph Curry and Snoop Dogg have joined forces to fix it up. Over 70 kids had to wait a month to see the new wooden floors and hoops, which Curry Brand showed them off on August 9.

Curry talked about their goal statement and how sports have deeper meanings for people.

“We want to give you a place to come have fun, get lost in the competition, invest in yourself, and be around a lot of great coaches and programs,” the four-time NBA Champion told the kids from Long Beach. “I hope this is the start of a great journey, not just in sports but in life as well.” You can learn a lot about life from sports, like how to be a good team player and believe in yourself.

Additionally, Snoop talked about the Boys & Girls Club LBC site and how deeply rooted his roots are there.

The 17-time Grammy winner said, “This is where I learned how to play basketball, and football, be involved in the community, and make friends.” “This park is where I learned how to rap, talk, and just be myself.” It’s really about giving these kids more chances than we had for ourselves.

Under Armour says that Steph and Snoop have been looking for ways to help young people since the start of Curry Brand in 2020. With help from Under Armour, the two set out to change the lives of 100,000 kids and make 20 playgrounds safer by 2025. The LBC court is the latest to join this list.
