Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is just 36 points away from becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. With a chance to make history tonight, he’s dressing for the occasion.

Prior to tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, LeBron was pictured entering the Crypto.com Arena dressed to the nines. He had a black suit and shirt along with a gold chain around his neck and a gold pin with the words “Stay Present” pinned to his lapel.

The post is going viral with over 2,000 likes and several hundred retweets on top of the 82,000 views thus far. Fans believe the wardrobe alone is a sign that tonight will be the night he breaks the record and becomes the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

The NBA all-time scoring record is currently held by the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who set the bar at 38,387 back in 1989.

LeBron James now sits at 38,352 and got there in 150 fewer games than it took Kareem.

Tonight LeBron gets the chance to not only break the record as a member of Kareem’s Lakers, but in Los Angeles in front of a home crowd. And even if he comes up short, he’ll have a second crack at the record on Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Will LeBron break the record tonight, or will the fans be sent home disappointed?
